Dharambir Singh
is probably the most accomplished sitarist in the UK. He is a member of staff at the Leeds School of Music and has performed widely in the UK and abroad.
He continues to act as an advisor on Indian classical music to various organisations and teaches on University level courses. Dharambir Singh has a special gift for teaching and has already produced some promising young musicians playing traditional Indian instruments and also Hindustani Music on Western instruments.
He will be undertaking two workshops on sitar to stimulate interest in the region with intention of introducing regular sessions.
