Ranjeet S Sokhi (Head of SAAZ and Tutor)

Ranjeet helped to establish SAAZ along with other colleagues in 1989 to promote Indian classical music within the UK. Over the years he has established extensive links with the wider community and musicians throughout the UK and abroad. This has led to the concept of the SAAZ School of Indian Classical Music. He will lead the vocal and percussion music tuition, programme development and strategic direction within the School.

Sharmila Sokhi (School Administrator)

Sharmila has been active in the further development of SAAZ since 1996. She is the Administrator for the School and will undertakes day to day organisational duties including enrolment, arranging venues for events and preparing monitoring reports and training schedules for students. She has been a college lecturer and plays the Sitar and the Dilruba.

Narinder Jassi (Percussion Tutor)

Narinder has been learning Tabla for more that ten years and has developed a keen appreciation for Indian music. He also performs regularly and has a large number of contacts in the music field. He assists in delivering courses on Indian percussion.

Vikash Chauhan (Technology Admin)

Vikash has been studying the Tabla under the guidance of Ranjeet for two years. He designs and develops the print media, website and Softlehera software.
