Pandit Yogesh Samsi, senior disciple of the late Ustad Alla Rakha Khan and Shri Dharambir Singh, senior disciple of the late Ustad Vilayat Khan, come together for the first time to create a unique experience of Indian classical music. Their performance will explore how the dynamics of Tabla gives rise to music through a tapestry of peshkar, kayada, rela and tukda and how the Sitar weaves rhythm with the melodious strings of alap, gat, taan and jhalla.
